Alt-Rock Powerhouse Lissy Taylor Returns With ‘Feel For Me’

Championed by OJ Borg, BBC Radio 2, Absolute Radio and Radio X, Lissy Taylor is a solo force to be reckoned with.

Introducing Lissy Taylor

Hailing from Stoke but previously residing in Manchester and the USA, Lissy draws styles and experiences from her many walks of life. Aligning with artists such as Sam Fender and Wolf Alice, her indie-rock sound surfaced from her sophomore EP, “Undercurrent” in 2021. This transition into a gritter sound led to stellar achievements for the young artist, including a debut Sky TV performance on Live From The Edge, a UK Headline tour, and being selected as “BIG in 22” by national promoters This Feeling.  Building on last year’s momentum, the past few months have seen Lissy support The Lottery Winners, New Rules, Tommy LeFroy, Rianne Downey, The Blue Tones and Tom Hingley, as well as appearing at the Isle of Wight Festival and recording in the iconic Abbey Road Studios.

Lissy Taylor – Feel For Me

Reflecting on her fruitful journey thus far, new single “Feel For Me” is for the thrill-seekers of the world: Described as three-and-a-half minutes of ecstasy. Exploring everything from anticipation to euphoria, the artist intertwines introspective verses with fiery, anthemic choruses grasped by mosh-pit vocals. Premiered on BBC Radio 1’s “Future Alternative” show, the song drips with chaos in the classiest way, and explores the whirlwind experience of a blossoming relationship. Capturing the emotions at different stages of growth, the song navigates desire, frustration and heartbreak, giving us a candid insight into the solo-artist.

Written by Taylor and produced by Gareth Nuttall (The Lottery Winners, The Ks), the track highlights the fluidity and strength of Lissy’s songwriting, and Nuttall’s effort to fully bring it to life. Accompanied by a music video that features Taylor’s Isle of Wight performance, the black-and-white tinted visuals bring the singer’s colourful artistry to the forefront.

With soaring guitar tones, climatic vocals and thrashing drums, “Feel For Me” will put you in the thick of it, leaving your heart pounding and your ears aching for more.

“Feel For Me” is without question, one of the best indie-rock releases of the year. Commanding and intoxicating, Lissy Taylor will continue to turn heads near and far, and excels far beyond the humble “ones to watch” status.
