Originally from Athens but currently residing in London, Laertis is a new face in the UK’s indie landscape. He embodies the term eclectic, fusing genres such as folk, soul, afro-latin, jazz, and Greek music to create a distinctive trademark sound.

Cleverly depicting Greece as both a country and a female figure, the songwriting on this piece is as mesmerizing as its well-rounded arrangements, metaphorically illustrating Laertis’s one-sided confrontation with his native land.
