San Quentin Fight Back On ‘You’re Lost’

San Quentin You're Lost

Taking their name from Johnny Cash’s legendary album At San Quentin, Quentin are ready to shake things up with their hard-hitting lyrics and energised sound.

San Quentin – You’re Lost

Formed in 2019 by Liam Cass and Owen Eves, San Quentin is a five-piece alternative rock band hailing from Southend-on-Sea. Last year, this group surpassed expectations by making their debut at the Isle of Wight Festival and also, with a sold-out show in their hometown, slowly but steadily building a loyal fanbase with their dazzling presentations.

You’re Lost is a musical piece about those who feel lost, tackling the negativity created by the media on young minds and an emphatic middle finger to that harmful mindset. This tune is a formidable example of the versatility within this project, showcasing an empathetic side conveyed in some of the most motivational lyrics you will hear in a while, accompanied by wild head-banging instrumentation.

Pulsating drum beats, vibrant guitar riffs, and an outstanding vocal performance melt into an absolute alternative banger that allows the band to showcase their full potential, brimming with ferocity and boldness. Also noteworthy is the contagious singalong chorus, tailor-made for big crowds.

“You’re Lost is the definitive anthemic rock track for the lost and the broken.”

San Quentin’s latest release successfully keeps listeners engaged thanks to its thematic sincerity and impactful musicianship, making for an enjoyable auditive experience.

After such a pivotal year in San Quentin’s career, things will only get better from here. Their future looks brighter than ever, and with 2023 full of upcoming live shows, this  band can reach for the stars.
