DENSE – ‘Reckoning’

Boasting a mix from Ross Orton, who has worked with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Drenge, God Damn, Pulled Apart by Horses and Working Men’s Club, the single is riddled with passion and dynamism, making for something seriously bold.

The Leeds based trio is made up of Charlie Fossick (guitars and vocals), Dylan Metcalf (bass) and Sam Heffer (drums), with each of the members uniting their own individual flair to generate a sound that keeps you coming back for more.

Lyrically, the new single signifies a journey through anguish, and ultimately captures the frustrations of modern-day life, and dealing with pent-up frustrations post lockdown. Really getting to the nitty-gritty with their narrative’s, DENSE have a knack for pairing intricate and story-like lyrics with assertive and emphatic melodies.

Sprinkling elements of garage and punk into their well-honed sound, DENSE are here to breathe some fresh life into the alt-rock scene and aren’t afraid to shake things up. Defined by their intense and thrilling energy, DENSE are no strangers to performing and have previously shared stages with Flat Worms and Prettiest Eyes.

Turning heads on home turf and beyond, the band have taken full advantage of being able to perform once again, and have just finished up their headline shows in both Manchester and Leeds. With extensive support from notable press and radio, DENSE are full speed ahead in their musical career, so don’t miss what they return with next.
