This is a proper cut-through song, a song that makes you just stop everything and listen, the vocals are literally icy in their clarity. Songs like this don’t come around that often, it’s both sad and beautiful at the same time.
There is a sparseness about the production that leads to obvious lazy comparisons with James Blake’s cover of Limit To Your Love – but we loved that track, and we love this one.
