Number 1: Connor Price
Connor Price is a Canadian hip-hop artist, songwriter, and actor known for his sharp lyricism and storytelling. Emerging from Toronto, Price first gained attention for his versatility, blending witty punchlines with introspective themes in his music. His breakout single “Courteney Cox” went viral on TikTok, earning him a global following. With a background in acting, including roles in Being Human and X Company, Price seamlessly transitioned into music. His discography features a mix of independent releases and collaborations with international artists, establishing him as a rising talent in the hip-hop scene. Number 2: Amyl and The Sniffers
Amyl and The Sniffers are an Australian punk rock band from Melbourne, known for their raw energy, aggressive sound, and wild performances. Fronted by charismatic vocalist Amy Taylor, the band gained international attention with their self-titled debut album in 2019. They blend elements of punk, rock, and garage music. Number 3. Wunderhorse
Wunderhorse is the project of British musician Jacob Slater, blending alternative rock, grunge, and introspective lyricism. Emerging from the ashes of his previous punk band Dead Pretties, Wunderhorse showcases a more mature, refined sound, with influences from artists like Elliott Smith and Neil Young. The band’s debut album, Cub, received critical acclaim for its raw emotion and nuanced songwriting. The new album Midas was released in August and contains the electrifying single of the same name.
Wunderhorse has toured extensively, earning a reputation for intense live performances. Catch them live in London at the O2 Brixton Academy on October 10th.

Number 13. Foreign Fields
Previously championed on Right Chord Music, Foreign Fields is an indie-folk duo from Wisconsin, known for their atmospheric soundscapes and introspective lyricism. Composed of Eric Hillman and Brian Holl, the band creates a delicate blend of acoustic and electronic elements, earning comparisons to artists like Bon Iver and Sufjan Stevens. Their music often explores themes of nostalgia, isolation, and personal growth. In 2024, Foreign Fields released their highly anticipated album What It Cost, showcasing their signature ethereal sound with a more expansive, cinematic approach. The album delves into themes of loss, sacrifice, and the complexities of human relationships, marking a significant evolution in their sound.
Number 23. Winnie Ama
Blending rhythmic electronic beats with laid-back, soulful vocals to make lyrically conscious and empowering electronic alt-pop/RnB songs. Winnie Ama draws influences from artists across time like Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Amy Winehouse. She also received recognition from Macy Gray and Sister Sledge who both invited her to open their shows in Cork and Belfast respectively.
Winnie Ama’s solo debut ‘What Are We’ was in the top 20 of MusicWeek’s UK Black Club Chart for 6 weeks. Her dance-pop collaboration ‘Awe of You’ spent 83 days in the Irish AirPlay charts, reaching the top 40.
So far this year Winne has released three singles: ‘Tangled’, ‘Wide Open’ Live at Hackney Road and the electric ‘Control It’ a collaboration with Martin Ikin who also appears on the chart at number four.
Number 26. Alessia
This Swiss disco pop starlet has already appeared on Right Chord Music. Read our review of her debut EP Alessia Shines Bright On Her Modern Disco Girl EP and the momentum behind her rightly continues to grow. The DJ Frizzie and Mariline reworkings of her single Modern Disco Girl add new dimensions to her blissed-out summer hit. If you are looking for a feel-good soundtrack start here. Number 30. Andrew Southworth
Andrew Southworth is a musician and YouTube music marketing influencer known for helping independent artists grow their fanbase using modern digital marketing strategies. Based in the U.S., Southworth combines his passion for music with his expertise in data-driven advertising, particularly through platforms like Facebook Ads and Spotify growth techniques. On his YouTube channel, he shares tutorials on promoting music, running ad campaigns, and navigating the streaming landscape. As an artist himself, he produces electronic music, allowing him to provide first-hand insights to fellow musicians.
