Each week our very own Nick Kavanagh delves into Amazing Radio’s ‘Amazing Tunes’ vault to find and profile one new track or artist.

Bwani Junction, now shortened to Bwani are a band from Edinburgh made up of singer and guitarist Rory Fairweather, guitarist Dan Muir, bassist Fergus Robson and drummer Jack Fotheringham. Dan’s father Gordon is the band’s manager and he was also manager of the Bhundu Boys.  Bwani have a distinct Afro Scottish sound, “Make My Day” was written in Vietnam and their name comes from the title of a 1956 feature film set in an Indian railway town. It’s a wonderfully infectious song.
