Capturing the shift in mood that comes with the change of seasons, electronic duo Moon Age returns with their latest track, Feel It In The Air.
Moon Age – Feel It In The Air
Originally from Stockport and formed in 2024, Moon Age is made up of Matt Hanson and Bryn Shipperlee. The pair craft a vibrant mix of synth-pop, nu-disco, and polished electronic grooves. Their influences cover a wide range, drawing inspiration from artists such as Nile Rodgers and Talking Heads while also reflecting the modern sound of acts like Tom Misch, Franc Moody, and Crazy P.
Since their debut, Moon Age has steadily built a growing audience. Early singles such as Lie To Me and the 2025 track, Time Is Running Out, helped the duo gain strong streaming numbers, surpassing 500,000 plays within a few months and attracting more than 40,000 monthly listeners. Their momentum has also translated to the stage, with their first headline show in Manchester selling out.
Arriving in step with the changing season, Moon Age presents their latest single, Feel It In The Air. The track stands as a fitting spring anthem, capturing the moment winter gives way to warmer days and a noticeable shift in atmosphere, filled with a sense of renewal and change.
Alongside its lyrics, the production reinforces that sense of transition, evoking the clarity of a spring morning through bright, memorable instrumentation. Lively guitar passages and driving rhythms give the track an uplifting tone, while airy arrangements, layered backing vocals, and crisp electric guitar lines add warmth and light throughout.
Feel It In The Air translates the glow of sunlight into sound, offering a fitting backdrop for a quiet sunrise, filled with optimism and a sense of what lies ahead.
Worth praising is how Moon Age turns this simple concept into a fully realised sonic piece, conveying its atmosphere through its detailed production. With strong momentum behind them, it will be exciting to see where Moon Age goes next.
