Former RCM First Signs of Love featured artist MACY returns with new dream pop drenched single ‘Smoking Gun’ and the heartbreak is palatable.
MACY is a young indie singer-songwriter from Abertillery in South Wales that sings and writes with maturity above her age. She impresses on her new single, the poignant ‘Smoking Gun’.
The track tells the story of a partner that was caught fooling around with someone else. It’s unclear whether the story is autobiographical, but regardless the emotion is raw and authentic and it’s easily relatable. Her dreamy almost smoke filled vocals lead to easy comparisons with Lana Del Rey.

Macy‘s previous single ”Cinema” was featured on “BBC Sounds”, on the “Adam Walton” show, with Bethan Elfyn also playing the track on her “BBC Wales show” and you would hope and expect similar support for this new single.
