Blackchords Announce Re-Release Of ‘As Night Falls’ & New Live Dates

Blackchords announce Melbourne shows to coincide with the re-release of the single ‘As Night Falls’ taken from the new Aussie movie ‘Blame.’

The single has already caused quite a stir in the UK when earlier this year it found it’s way on to the daytime playlist of national, new music radio station Amazing Radio. Blackchords became the highest Australian charting act ever when ‘As Night Falls’ reached Number Two on the Amazing Radio official chart.

After a busy 2010, which saw the Blackchords play The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City in the UK and support Powderfinger at their last ever Melbourne show at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, the band have spent the most of 2011 locked away in the studio busy writing and recording their brand new album due for release later this year.

With the new album pending, the band have been itching to hit the stage again and will be doing so throughout the winter to celebrate the re-release of their single ‘As Night Falls’ which was written and recorded for brand new Aussie film ‘Blame’ (out nationally – Australia from June 15th).
